Transit Trailblazers Scavenger Hunt is back!

Transit Trailblazers Scavenger Hunt

Calgary Transit and Girl Guides are excited to announce the second annual Transit Trailblazers Scavenger Hunt, taking place at Brentwood Station on September 21. This event is designed to help young Guides explore and become familiar with Calgary’s public transit system in a fun and engaging way.

Participants will embark on a scavenger hunt filled with interactive challenges and questions that test their navigation and problem-solving skills. Along the way, they will receive support and guidance from our dedicated Transit Ambassadors and Peace Officers.

“The scavenger hunt is a fantastic opportunity for Girl Guides to gain hands-on experience with public transit,” said Sharon Fleming, Director of Calgary Transit. “We aim to make learning about transit both enjoyable and educational, helping to build confidence in our future riders.”

Upon completing the scavenger hunt, each Girl Guide will earn a special Transit Trailblazers badge, celebrating their achievements and newfound independence. We are eager to see the enthusiasm and growth of these young participants as they take on this exciting challenge.

Please note:

There is a service disruption from 39 Ave to City Hall/Bow Valley College on Sept. 21. Shuttle service will be running every 5 mins to help get those who are traveling from the south get to the event. Read more on the CTrain Service Information page.
