Information | Attention: Bus Stop Signs

Some bus stop signs in the Saddletowne, Northeast and North Central areas have not yet been updated following our fall service changes, which began on August 31. Please use our Trip Planner or the Transit app to plan your trip – both will provide up-to-date locations of all the stops on your route. We are working to update the remaining bus stop signs as quickly as possible and apologize for the inconvenience.

Bus stop tactile signs on Route 90: tell us what you think

We’ve installed tactile bus stop signs along Route 90 (Bridgeland/University of Calgary) to make the stops more accessible for people who are blind or have low vision.

The tactile signs, put up as part of a pilot, provide key information, such as stop ID, route details, and our TeleRide phone number (403-974-4000), using raised text and braille. We partnered with CNIB on the signs' design.

Our pilot supports more independent and confident transit use. Your feedback and additional CNIB input will help inform potential future tactile sign rollout on all our bus routes.

Please take a few minutes to complete our questionnaire.
