Some bus stop signs in the Saddletowne, Northeast and North Central areas have not yet been updated following our fall service changes, which began on August 31. Please use our Trip Planner or the Transit app to plan your trip – both will provide up-to-date locations of all the stops on your route. We are working to update the remaining bus stop signs as quickly as possible and apologize for the inconvenience.

New weekend group day pass

We’re introducing a new discounted weekend group day pass!

Beginning April 15, 2023, the weekend group day pass will be available every weekend on My Fare, Transit, our trip planning app, or from ticket vending machines at CTrain stations. 

The price of the weekend group day pass is $15 and it’s valid for unlimited travel on a weekend day for groups of up to five people including up to two adults. The pass offers savings versus the cost of individuals buying single ride tickets or multiple day passes at the regular rates. And unlike a single ride ticket, this group pass is valid all day – until the end of service.

Here are the rules:

  • A group includes a maximum of two adults (18 and above), and a maximum of five people over the age of 12 (kids 12 and under already ride for free).

  • Included unlimited travel for the group on the day the pass is activated, until end of service.

  • The pass will be available on My Fare, our mobile ticketing app, the Transit trip planning app, and through ticket vending machines at CTrain stations. It’s only available on weekends and is valid for unlimited travel on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • The group must always be traveling together and one member of the group must present the proof-of-payment when requested.

  • The weekend group day pass is not valid for CTA trips.
