Warning | May 16-18: 7 Avenue Closure – Red & Blue Line service disruptions

From Saturday, May 16 to the very early hours of Tuesday, May 19, 2025, all downtown stations along 7 Avenue, as well as Victoria Park/Stampede Station and a few surrounding stations, will be closed. Shuttle buses will replace CTrain service between affected stations, including downtown. Full CTrain service will be back up and running again before start of service on Tuesday, May 19!

Dragon City Mall Bus Shelter Replacement

UPDATE – as of October 4, 2024, this work is complete and a new shelter is in place.

Bus stop #3911 and #5086 on northbound Centre Street at the north side of 4 Avenue S., located in front of Dragon City Mall (328 Centre Street S.E.) in Chinatown, will be closed temporarily on August 25 from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. The existing bus shelter at this location will be removed due to its deteriorating condition. Routes 2, 3, 17, and 300 will be available at stop #5148, one block south, on northbound Centre Street at the south side of 4 Avenue S. during this time.

Regular service to the stop at Dragon City Mall will resume on August 26.

Calgary Transit will be installing an interim shelter at this location after further assessment of the project site. The replacement structure will provide customers with shelter through the upcoming winter season.

An estimated completion date for this project will be provided once it's available.
